The Full Dismounted IEDD Team Kit provides a complete capability for a light scale response to an IED. The kit – supplied in two backpacks – is suitable for teams operating in both urban and non-urban operating environments and provides a significant capability in a minimal size and weight envelope.
The kit comprises all that is necessary to carry out a render safe procedure (RSP) while remaining mobile and agile as part of a dismounted or rapid response operation:
- a sophisticated x-ray imaging system for use in confined spaces where an object is close to a wall or obstacle
- a wide range of semi-remote hook and line equipment
- a very lightweight ‘A’ frame for lifting main charges or devices clear of obstacles
- a multi-role disrupter and stand is included along with firing cable and electronic exploder
- specialist EOD tools & accessories
