Nexus Defence aims to be the premier provider of specialist security equipment and consultancy within the counter terrorist arena
UK government raises terror threat to the second highest level possible – severe.

Assessing the risk
The increased threat will see organisations just like us at Nexus Defence re-defining our risk assessments and processes.
The raise in this status is predominantly due to the growing activity of Islamist groups in Syria and Iraq. This means an attack to the West is thought to be highly likely.
David Cameron cited, “A poisoned ideology of Islamist extremism that forces people to accept a warped world view and live in an almost medieval state”.
The future
It is believed that around 500 Britons have travelled to destinations like Iraq and Syria, to fight with groups such as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (known as ISIS). Experience suggests that any future plot to the UK is likely to involve these fighters who have returned to the UK after becoming hardened, trained fighters.
Exercising vigilance
While no specific immediate threat has been publicised, it is believed that the majority of citizens across the UK will exercise a degree of increased vigilance and awareness of a potential threat at this time.
Here at Nexus Defence we accept our responsibility, as a professional security organisation, to tighten our relevant security measures and follow recent Government advice.
